The Ovano Switch Narrow is a modular bed and storage system for the VW Transporter, designed for users who want maximum versatility while retaining more usable floor space inside the van. It delivers the same proven Switch functionality in a narrower footprint than our Switch XL, this allows for carrying longer items comfortable e.g. light stands, tripods, step ladders, surfboards — ideal for adventure, work, or mixed-use setups.

Now supplied as standard with our OneTouch drawer system, enabling smooth one-handed drawer operation when loading or unloading.

Built in the UK from black phenolic birch plywood, stainless steel hardware, and heavy-duty components, the Switch Narrow is engineered for real-world use. From secure weekday storage to a full-length bed or load platform at the weekend, it adapts in seconds without permanent modification.

Backed by a 2-year Ovano warranty, the Switch Narrow is built to work hard and last.

Care & Maintenance

Cleaning surfaces

Wipe usable surfaces and metal components with Green Oil or a similar light lubricating spray. Avoid harsh or abrasive cleaning chemicals.

Drawer runners

Use compressed air to remove debris from around the ball bearings, then reapply Green Oil liberally to maintain smooth operation.
