Warranty info
Ovano Products – 2 Year Warranty
All Ovano-branded products are supplied with a 2-year warranty from the date of delivery.
This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship that arise during normal, intended use. The warranty applies to the original purchaser and is valid only where products are installed, used, and maintained in accordance with the instructions provided.
This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights under UK consumer law, which are not affected.
Trade & Commercial Use
Products used for trade, commercial, or professional purposes are subject to different warranty terms due to increased operational demands.
• Ovano-branded products used in a trade or commercial setting are covered by a 6-month warranty, unless otherwise stated on the relevant product page.
• Trade use includes, but is not limited to, use in the course of business, commercial operations, or income-generating activity.
Consumer statutory rights apply only to consumer purchases and do not apply to purchases made wholly for business use.
Installation & Use
This warranty does not cover faults or damage resulting from:
• Incorrect installation
• Installation carried out contrary to supplied instructions
• Installation by third parties where instructions have not been followed
Where installation services are offered by Ovano, warranty cover applies only to the products supplied. Issues arising from external, unauthorised, or incorrect installation are not covered.
Wear, Tear & Fit for Purpose
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, defined as the gradual and expected deterioration that occurs through normal use over time.
This does not affect your right to a remedy where a product:
• Develops a fault prematurely
• Fails due to a manufacturing defect
• Is not of satisfactory quality at the point of delivery
Any abnormal or early failure should be reported as a warranty claim.
Delivery & Risk
For palletised and large-item deliveries:
• Delivery dates are agreed in advance with the customer
• The customer is responsible for ensuring access and availability to receive the delivery
Where a delivery is left unattended at the customer’s request, or due to the customer not being available at the agreed delivery time, Ovano cannot accept responsibility for damage arising after delivery. This includes, but is not limited to, exposure to weather or environmental conditions.
Third-Party Products
Products supplied by third-party manufacturers are covered by the manufacturer’s standard warranty, not Ovano’s warranty.
Warranty duration, coverage, and remedies vary by manufacturer and will be detailed on the relevant product page. In some cases, warranty claims may need to be handled directly with the manufacturer.
Where possible, Ovano will assist with third-party warranty claims, however coverage and final approval remain at the manufacturer’s discretion.
Warranty Claims Process
If you believe your product has developed a fault covered by warranty, you must contact us via our Contact Us page.
To help us assess your claim, please provide:
• Your order number
• Product details
• A clear description of the issue
• Photographs or videos where requested
Warranty claims are assessed in the following order, where appropriate:
1. Repair
2. Replacement
3. Refund
Products must not be returned without prior authorisation.
Additional Information
• Warranty periods begin from the date of delivery, not installation
• Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims
• Warranty cover is non-transferable unless otherwise stated
If you are unsure which warranty applies to a specific product, or whether your intended use qualifies as trade or consumer use, please contact us prior to purchase and we will be happy to advise.
