Estimated time: Approximately 20 minutes.
Assistance: A second person is required to help lift the Switch.

  1. Initial step: Remove tie-down points in the VW transporter kombi van.
  2. Lift the Switch high enough to clear the rear wheels.
  3. Align with bolt holes and loosely install bolts towards the front of the van.
  4. Pull out the drawer for access to the rear bolts.
  5. Secure all four bolts and tighten them.
  6. Place the bulkhead in front of the seats of the kombi van.
  7. Lift in the four-panel top section.
  8. Unfold and align the four bolt holes.
  9. Tighten the allen head bolts.
  10. Move to the side door and lift the bulkhead into place.
  11. Align hinges with bulkhead holes.
  12. Secure three screws in each hinge x4.
  13. Slide the bulkhead back until it hits a stop, and lift it so it fits into the housing for a snug fit.
  14. Install the rope through the holes at the back and tie a figure of eight knots on both sides.
  15. Pull the rope tight to secure knots.
  16. Position the rope behind the seats in a Kombi van.
  17. Slide the legs through the mini bulkhead mode to ensure it is secure.
  18. Once completed, the unit is installed and ready for use.

These instructions will apply to the Ovano Switch Narrow but also work for the Ovano Switch XL.
