To pull out the drawer:

  1. Lift both latches.
  2. Pull to the outmost position to lock the drawer.
  3. To release, lift latches, push in, and it will latch shut.

Please note the runners are double telescopic and have a lockout function:

  1. Ensure both latch systems are lifted and engaged to avoid potential issues.
  2. Lift latches preemptively to prevent wear over time.

We have installed a bump stop on the back of the drawer and dampening strips on the backs of the runners to reduce play:

  1. The bump stop can be adjusted to minimise play.
  2. The dampening strips are replaceable, and we provide spares.
  3. You can test if these need replacing by checking there is no play when pushing the drawer in.

Best practice tips for loading:

  1. Load heavy items with the drawer locked out to reduce twisting of the runners.
  2. Load rating: 180 kilograms, evenly distributed.

Maintenance tips for the runners:

  1. Keep clean and dry. Remove any sawdust or sand.
  2. Use dry PTFE spray as a lubricant. Apply liberally monthly.
  3. Add grease on the latches for smooth sliding.

These instructions will apply to the Ovano Switch Narrow but also work for the Ovano Switch XL.
