Compatibility

For best results, we recommend line-based artwork and outlines rather than solid blocks of colour.

Due to the natural layered construction of birch plywood, areas that are fully engraved can show subtle variations in tone rather than a single flat colour. Clean line work, simple shapes, and clear outlines generally produce the sharpest and most readable results.

If you’re unsure whether your artwork will engrave well, you’re welcome to send it over and we can advise before engraving.

Artwork must be supplied in vector format, for example:

  • .ai
  • .svg
  • .eps

Please email your artwork to info@ovano.co.uk as soon as you place your Switch order. This allows time to prepare and proof the design ahead of your collection or installation date.
