The Bike Bar is designed to work alongside the Switch XL, allowing you to transport up to two bikes securely while still retaining full use of the drawer below.

When paired with fork mounts, the system keeps bikes upright, stable, and clear of your load space. Adjustable mounting brackets accommodate a wide range of bike sizes, and the bar can be installed or removed in seconds. When not in use, it stows neatly against the side of the Switch drawer for a clean, practical setup.

Compatibility

The Bike Bar has been tested with a wide range of small to extra-large mountain bikes and is suitable for most modern frame shapes and sizes.

Due to variation in frame geometry, handlebar width, and seat height, compatibility cannot be guaranteed for every bike, but the adjustable design accommodates the majority of setups.

Important considerations

  • Bikes without dropper posts may require the saddle to be lowered or removed
  • Road bikes may require handlebars to be loosened and dropped slightly to clear tailgate or barn doors
  • In SWB Transporters, the Switch top must be in bed mode to allow clearance for bike length
  • In LWB Transporters, depending on bike length, the bulkhead can be raised to retain rear Kombi seats while carrying bikes

Installation

Installation is quick and straightforward. The Bike Bar can be fitted or removed in seconds and does not interfere with normal use of the Switch drawer system.

Instructions

Please note- Fitting two bikes for the first time can take longer than expected due to handlebar clashes etc. We would recommend the inital setup being done at your leisure as opposed to just before your going out riding. Once setup it's easy.
