We bought both the Ovano switch XL and Swing out table in October 2025. Took it down to Ovano for fitting and they were ace, really professional and friendly. The team clearly know what they are doing and our hours appointment flew by watching them fit it and give us a demonstration. I also ordered the FortyWinks trifold mattress which arrived within a couple of days of ordering. I’ve already used mine and if miles more comfortable than the poptop (even with the poptop FortyWinks mattress) and the one on the switch gives loads more room to sleep on. I would definitely recommend Ovano to anyone whether it be an addition to a poptop or an alternative. I was going to go with another brand which costs almost twice as much. This set up allows for 3 orientations of the top shelf/bed layout Please don't think it is a faf trying to change these layouts. They are very versatile . For example when the bed section is full set up this is a great two tier platform to do what ever you like in terms of storage. The whole system stays in my van always but once in a while I have taken it out only to allow me re-install my third row of seats at the back. I have an SWB van and was always concerned if I should have gone with the LWB NOW those concerns are gone. Total space usability now. The draw is solid but I do advise fully locking the draw when fully extended with weight so not to twist or bend the runners with accidentally excessive sideward force. Also keep on eye on where the vibrations pads are located and I suggest purchasing a small bag of extras from Ovano. I also advise adding a small amount of PTFE TAPE to the threads of the four anchor bolts that hold the unit down to the floor of your van or at least checking these for tightness every 6months These pointers are purely to keep the unit rattle free. I have no affiliation with Ovano whatsoever they are a great UK based family business who take pride in their quality of work . Top notch service again, my Ovano Switch XL has been in place in my van and getting daily use for 2 years now. I popped in at short notice today to have it looked at as was having a couple of minor issues (all to do with my regular use & abuse of the system!) and was sorted within half an hour and all at no charge, despite my insistance! We were booked in to meet Josh on Wednesday 9th July, we'd read a lot about the ovano system but wanted to see it assembled, see how it worked and see the quality of it. The quality is first class, it's a very smooth, well thought out piece of kit, that is so sturdy the weight it can carry in the tray and above is incredible. We went to look thinking we would need to book in for a return fitting date, when Josh offered to fit the one we had been looking at there and then while we sat in the sun and played with Farley the dog. I went down to Ovano in Bristol to have mine fitted, it was there ready and waiting to be fitted, they were quick to install and we had a good chat over a cup of tea as we went along. I can’t recommend them enough. Since having it fitted I have used it as a bed several times and it’s spot on, the memory foam mattress I also bought with it is comfy and machine washable. Great customer service and excellent quality, I will be purchasing the swing out table in the future. Thanks guys 👍🏻
